About Me

Nice to meet you! My name is Mari-Liis. I have been working with animals since 2013. I started at the Tallinn Animal Emergency Clinic, then continued at Animal Veterinary Clinic in Tartu, and later spent a longer period working at the Estonian University of Life Sciences Small Animal Clinic as a senior veterinary assistant (until 2025). Animals have always held a very important place in my life. I find them easy to understand and connect with – and that mutual trust is something I value most. My approach to animal care is force-free and positive, while still being consistent and clear. I am playful, build personal connections, and respect each animal’s individuality. My goal is to understand each animal as an individual – their needs, temperament, and everything in between 💚. I have completed several professional trainings and continue to improve my knowledge on an ongoing basis. Personally, I have had two rescue dogs (Lotte and Nord), one rescue cat (Pipi), and currently have one rescue cat at home (Kessu). My interests include kickboxing, gym training, spending time in nature, and reading books. I value the simple joys in life and good relationships with loved ones.
